I just finished reading The Lost Dogs by Jim Gorant, about the dogs rescued from Michael Vick’s dogfighting ring. I was surprised that so many of these dogs were rehabilitated and some are even therapy dogs. Pit bulls are not vicious by nature and if they’re raised in a loving environment are excellent pets and no more dangerous than any other breed.
So Plan A was to plant 150 tulip bulbs in the ground. Then I got sick and the ground froze. Plan B was to plant 150 tulip bulbs in my raised beds. Didn’t happen because by the time I felt better the raised beds were frozen solid too. So today I went to Plan C and planted 150 tulip bulbs. In pots. In my garage. We’ll see how that goes…
All the lights and decorations are put away and it’s time to move on. I miss the holidays, new years make me nervous. Hoping for a good year for everyone!
